It represents a request of service of a user when a change, problem resolution or a new
component is required associated to an Application or special project.
Through a new service order. The path you must follow starting from the main panel is
(click on each of the following buttons):
1. Service Orders.
2. New Service Order.
Once in the screen,
3. Type in or select all the requested information.
4. Click on <Save> to confirm the Service Order.
A Project Manager, Service Order Responsible (Project Leader) or a Subactivity Responsible
(Specialist) each can edit different parts of the Service Order.
The path you must follow to edit a Service Order starting from the main panel is (click on each of the following buttons):
1. Service Orders.
2. Edit Service Order.
If a User wants to change the original requirement, the Project Manager has to cancel the current Service Order and the user would have to register a new one.
A Service Order is the request of service from an End User in the case of a problem,
change or new requirement.
A project is generated from a Service Order, and is divided into a number of activities
and subactivities necessary to resolve this request.
In other words a Service Order can be considered as the "action" coming from the user,
and a project as the "reaction" from the IT, IS area.

2. Service Order Progress.
A Project Manager or MIS Manager, can use:
1. Management Tools.
2. Service Orders.
3. Service Order Progress
Once the service order is displayed, you can <double click> over it to see more detail.
Proaris offers many ways to do this. The easiest options are the Service Order queries.
